From the exhibition Last Call at Spanien 19C, Aarhus
The four videos were made for the exhibition Last Call at the Spanien 19c, the last exhibition in their old spaces before the building was to be demolished. The site-specific series of videos relates to the area around the exhibition site, Sydhavnen in Aarhus, and the rapid process of urban development that is at stake. Major changes in the architecture, surroundings and use of the area. The videos consist of digitally drawn animations based on material from the Google Maps archive. Each video relates to a specific point in the area and is accessed via a QR code on the exhibition floor plan, which is designed as a map.
