The five drawings are based on a drawing exercise I asked a group of friends and family to take part in. A sheet of paper with an illustration of Jerry the cartoon mouse placed in a grid, next to it is a larger and empty grid - here the task is to translate the illustration of the mouse as accurately as possible using the lines in the grid system. The drawings that came out of the exercise I have again copied, enlarged and transferred to new and larger pieces of paper and placed them side by side.
